Course Descriptions

 

1. CREDIT
Each credit load of semester work is 12 credit unit and is equivalent to 15 weeks of instruction which each credit is 1 hour (50 minutes) of instruction per week.
*Classes are at the residence, and will be offered on a cor- respondence. Grades and general information will be handled through the mail, if sufficient number of students from an area outside of the main campus request attention, the faculty can accommodate them by going to the student's location.


2. PROBATION AND SUSPENSION
Automatic probation for student whose grade point average is below B(3.0) then need approval from the Director of College or Director of Seminary in order to continue to study.

4. INSTRUCTION
1) Music practice course or tutorial will be based on indivi- duals? private lesson by individual mentor who is approved by Washington College and Int?l Seminary(WCIS).
2) Study material will be given for every course, should be submitted to mentor or professor.
3) Final examination at the end of semester is given in each course under the supervision of mentor of professor.
Answering paper for the correspondent students will be offer to their professor.
4) All the assigned study materials and examination questionnaire with grade after final examination shall be submitted to the office of main campus.

5. ADMISSION
1) Student may enroll at the beginning of each semester.
2) Necessary Document
A. Undergraduate program
a. Application for admission.
b. Transcripts of highschool, college and two letters of recommendation.
c. Application fee of $ 50
B. Graduate/Seminary program
a. One English transcript of college or graduate school.
b. Diploma or graduation certicate (copy).
c. Two recommendation letters.
d. Application fee of $ 50

6. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
1) GPA must be C(2.0) or better for undergraduate school and B(3.0) or better for Graduate School/Seminary for a candidate to graduate.
2) The student of the Master in Church Music must perfoum a concert or comprehensive exam of his/her field and hand in thesis for the degree.
3) The doctoral student in Church Music must perform a concert and research thesis for teaching materials in his/ her field for the degree.
4) The doctoral student on other major must take a comprehensive examination and hand in a dissertation to fulfill a project in his/her field for the degree. He or she is required to pass ELS level.

7. WITHDRAW FROM CLASS OF SEMINARY
If student wishes to withdraw from the class of COLLEGE/SEMINARY, he or she must make a petition then the grade will be W otherwise, the grade will be F.

RETURNING TO COLLEGE/SEMINARY
Student who wish to return must submit application with fee of $ 50

SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship may be given to most needed, students who is working as assistant for professor and local pastor.
